Over the years I have been honoured with multiple awards- including the Trichocare Development Award 2019, Gold Entrepreneur of the year 2021 at the British Hair & Beauty Awards, and Midlands Hair Loss Clinic of the Year 2023.

What Is Trichology And Why It Matters

Trichology is the scientific study of the hair and scalp. A trained Trichologist does not just treat hair- they assess underlying causes ( nutrition, hormones, lifestyle, genetics and stress ) to design a complete, holistic , scientifically and medically backed plan tailored to the individual.

Myself and my team take a holistic, multi dimensional approach. Combining a detailed consultation, advanced diagnostics and regenerative treatments.

My Personal Story – What Inspired Midlands Trichology

My own path to trichology began when I noticed my hair thinning at around the age of 25. My first attempt at help was my GP, who simply told me that it was my age , a conclusion that I was not willing to accept.

Desperate for answers, I then sought help from a high profile trichologist based on Londons Harley Street. After four costly appointments, I was still left without a diagnosis. The hair thinning continued. Finally, after many visits, I convinced my GP to refer me privately to a Dermatologist – where I was diagnosed with Androgenetic Alopecia, female pattern hair loss. A genetic condition rarely seen so advanced at such a young age.

Though relieved to have a diagnosis, I was frustrated by the lack of holistic information, guidance, and treatment options – skin specialists could not address the full spectrum of hair and scalp. I felt let down, but, instead of giving up and accepting it, I channelled my emotions and frustration into purpose. I threw myself into research, plunging deep into the science of the hair, craving knowledge.

Years of dedication followed – training, studying, and eventually qualifying as a consultant Trichologist. I have striven to create a clinic founded on honesty, transparency, empathy, and real expertise. A place where people would not be brushed off with vague explanations, but would receive real, tailored support.
